Tour Program
Our experienced tour guide and driver will be greeting you at 2.30pm at your hotel’s lobby then heading out of the hassle Siem Reap city about 45 minute drive to Mechrey floating village on Tonle Sap Lake. The journey passes interesting city highlight and huge beautiful rice paddies dotting palm trees and cattle in the fields before we arrive at Mechrey boat pier. Embark a sheltered boat for the excursion to see The Great Lake of Tonle Sap which the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia and is also an ecological hot spot that was designated as a UNESCO biosphere in 1997. The boat trip slowly cruises along the canal then passing by floating school, floating houses which animated by some fishing activities. Our tour guide will explain you about Tonle Sap ecosystem and witness how life works in the floating community relying on aquatic resources, and we stop to see a small floating crocodile farm, souvenirs shop and stroll around Buddhist pagoda to interact the locals.
Near the end of the trip, we will spend a lovely time of golden evening to capture the beautiful sun fading at horizon and do your best to take those amazing photos before the boat takes us back to the mainland then catch our awaiting car/minivan back to your hotel.

For safety reason on the way back to your hotel because it’s getting dark, we strongly recommend air conditioning car/minivan.
Dressing Code
You should wear whatever is most comfortable but remember to dress appropriately to respect the locals and other religious sites, pagodas, temples and holy places. Clothes must cover your shoulders and knees, especially when you visit Buddhist temples/pagodas or an religious sites.
Payment
Private day-tour booking does not require a deposit but please courtly leave us 48 hour notice for any cancellation. The full payment in US dollar cash should be ready and we will assign our tour guide to collect the cash payment (US Dollar) on behalf of us when he picks you up at your hotel’s lobby.
