Visually experience nice sunset over The Great Lake “Tonle Sap” – the most extensive freshwater lake in Asia, the private journey takes approx. 3 – 4 ½ hours from Siem Reap town to ward one of interesting floating communities within Tonle Sap’s edges; the most recommended places are Kompong Phluk or Mechrey village and the alternatives are Kompong Khleang stilt-house with floating village in the low water season occurring from February to April while Chong Kneas floating village is available all year round. With more than an hour on boat excursion, you will see the best highlights of lifestyle & lake activities, flooded forests and fishing activities on Tonle Sap Lake and learn more about Tonle Sap biosphere & eco-system from our experienced tour guide. Near the end of the trip, we will spend a lovely time of golden evening to capture the beautiful sun fading at horizon and do your best to take those amazing photos before the boat takes us back to the mainland then catch our awaiting car/minivan back to your hotel.
